Workin' Overtime - Diana Ross. Лента с персональными рекомендациями и музыкальными новинками, радио, подборки на любой вкус, удобное управление своей коллекцией. Workin' Overtime. Исполнитель: Diana Ross. 1989 pop. Workin' Overtime is the seventeenth studio album by American singer Diana Ross, released on June 6, 1989 by Motown. It was Ross' first Motown album with new material since To Love Again 1981, after Ross left the label for a then record breaking 20 million deal with RCA. Upon Diana's return to the label, Motown founder Berry Gordy, Jr. had sold the label to MCA Records and had positioned Jheryl Busby to the head of Motown. Ross was at first reluctant to return to her old label but Gordy promised her. Посмотреть сведения об участниках альбома, рецензии, композиции и приобрести альбом 1989 CD от Workin' Overtime на Overtime was not a commercial nor much of a critical success, with most people focused on the fact that the music and her image on the album cover did not fit Diana Ross at all. Say We Can: This is one of the tracks from Workin Overtime which Diana performed while promoting the album on tour it was included on her September 1989 HBO special World Tour 89: Workin Overtime, although it ended up being left off the accompanying Greatest Hits Live disc, released internationally. Текст песни: Workin' overtime, dedicated to you Gonna cross that thin line Hope you dont disapprove 'Cause Im workin' overtime. new start 'Cause Im workin' overtime Workin hard Boy I found a way To raise the level of my self esteem When I was just a - girl I learned how to say I will be proud I see A me that will always achieve One idea can last forever And heres the only way that I can prove it Workin' overtime . Album 1989 10 Songs. Diana Ross. Pop 1989. This album was the first product of that new contract, and the results weren't very encouraging. There were no moderate or even small hits, and the album quickly dropped off both the R&B and pop charts within a couple of weeks of its release. Ross sounded completely lost, and the production, arrangements, and compositions sounded weak and thin next to the dominant New Jack and hip-hop works. 10 tracks 42:00.
